DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — 60 junior archers from across the state competed in the 11th annual State Alabama Recreation and Parks Association (ARPA) Archery Tournament.
Dothan, Talladega, Cullman, and Hoover were represented this year and competed on Saturday morning at Eastgate Park in Dothan
Boys and girls, ages 10 to 18, competed in both bare bow and hunting bow classifications.
There was also a therapeutics classification for both the bare bow and the open class.
This tournament is the only archery tournament in the state where special citizens can compete.
The event was free for all spectators and as you can see the arrows definitely left their mark.
