Geneva City Schools welcome new superintendent

Geneva city schools welcomed back a familiar face for superintendent.

Ron Snell has been principal at T.R. Miller High School in Brewton, Alabama for the last two years. Prior to that, he served in the same capacity at Northview and Opp high schools.
Snell is a strong proponent of offering college Advanced Placement (AP) classes. Also, Snell is impressed with the facility located in the Geneva Armory which provides vocational training in areas like nursing, welding, and automotive.

“To be able to get this job in my home county is a blessing,” Snell said. “I want to thank the people of Geneva for trusting me with this job.”

Snell oversees the Geneva School District with its 1400 students and approximately 150 employees.
