DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — If you’ve been looking for a job, the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce said September 29, is your chance to get one.
The city will be holding one of the largest job fair’s with over 80 plus employers. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dothan Civic Center, they will be employers looking for workers in industries from retail to automotive, law enforcement to healthcare. If you can think of it, they will have it.
This job fair is still in the midst of a nationwide labor shortage with many local businesses to keep doors open because of it.
“The time is now, and so we’ve endured some difficult moments during the pandemic, but now is the time for us to get back to work. With 84 employers you can see the need is great,” Dothan Personnel Director Delvick McKay said.
If you miss this job fair, McKay said not to worry.
