DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Jason Park, the man charged with 60 charges including some related to child sex crimes, has issued a blind plea.

In an order signed by Judge William Filmore, 43 counts of possession of obscene matter have been dismissed.

Park still faces 13 counts of possession of obscene matter as well as four charges for sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old.

Park’s next hearing is scheduled for May 13, 2021, at 9 a.m. Park will remain in the Dale County Jail pending his sentencing.

The order comes one day after a jury was struck for Park’s trial which began today.
