ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — For the first time in 20 years, the Rawls ball annual, the largest fundraiser for the Enterprise SOS no-kill animal shelter was called the Paws Ball.
The theme of this year’s fundraiser was a black-and-white masquerade ball.
Over the weekend, it resulted in thousands of dollars in food, cleaning supplies, and other needs for the 40-year-old facility.
For the first time in two years, the event was brought back to Rawls. It had been held at the Enterprise Country Club due to more room for social distancing stemming from the covid pandemic.
In the last decade, Capps says the Rawls Ball has raised more than $10,000 for the no-kill, animal shelter.
