OPP, Ala. (WDHN) — Fans at the Channell-Lee stadium have a big and new way to watch the games there.

Recently, a jumbotron was placed at the stadium in Opp. The large video screen is located in the end zone.

The $135,000 price tag was paid through the Opp High School Booster Club, and the jumbotron will be used for replays during Bobcat football games.

It will be used also during the Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo and a number of other outdoor events throughout the year.

Mayor Becky Bracke says if an Opp High School team makes it deep into the playoffs and is on the road, Bobcat fans can have a tailgating experience watching the game on the jumbotron.
