ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN)—Enterprise Rescue Inc. appears one step closer to its goal to get an “air ambulance” based at the city’s municipal airport.

This week, the Coffee County Commission approved a 250-thousand dollar line of credit to encourage
Mississippi-based PHI to set up an ambulance helicopter service in “The City of Progress”.

County Administrator, Rod Morgan, says he hopes the money is not needed. But, it gives the company financial assurance to make sure they don’t lose dollars during their first year of serving the Wiregrass.

Morgan says PHI officials hope to get their air operations in place in Enterprise before the end of this year.
