DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — “Art After Hours” at the Wiregrass Museum of Art got started at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and will last until 8 p.m. on Thursday night. They will be showcasing two brand-new exhibits there.

One exhibit is the B-22 Wiregrass Biennial Exhibit, which will showcase large-scale installations, from sculptures to paintings, and a variety of different art styles.

The other exhibit is “Puppets and Poetry,” which will include works on paper as well as book art.

“We’d love to have a large crowd out here tonight (Thursday) to welcome 38 artists from 7 states,” Wiregrass Museum of Art, Director of Advancement Melissa Rea said. “This show is really important because it showcases the scope and the breadth of the rich artist community in the Southeast.”

If you are a member of the Wiregrass Museum of Art, admission is free. If you’re not a member, admission is $5 for Thursday’s “Art After Hours” event.

B-22 Wiregrass Biennial Exhibit will be on display from July 22nd through September 24th.
