Body found in Holmes County identified as Geneva Man

GEVENA COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — According to Geneva Police Chief, Tony Clemmons a body found buried near the Holmes-Geneva county state line has been identified.

Late Monday afternoon, officials revealed the identity of the man as Brett Joshua Grantham, 36, from Geneva.

Officials told WDHN they used his tattoos and a metal plate in his arm to help identify the deceased.

Geneva law enforcement agencies held a press conference on Monday afternoon where they confirmed that Paul Michael, 41, was charged with murder and Rebeca Holt, 27, was charged with hindering prosecution.

Michael and Holt may be facing more charges.

No other information has been released at this time.
