COTTONDALE, Fla. (WDHN) — The City of Cottondale has issued a boil water notice for residents in certain areas.
The notice will be in effect on Tuesday, June 13 at 8:30 a.m. due to a water line repair. The water will be turned off until the repair is complete. This will affect approximately 12 customers in the following areas:
- Glastel Street
- Johnson Loop
As a precaution, it is advised that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled. A rolling boil of one minute is sufficient, bottled water may be used as an alternative.
The boil water notice will remain in effect until the problem has been resolved and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.
