DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — As summertime wraps up, the Dothan Boys and Girls Club is continuing to provide summer activities for their kids with their “Battle of the Ages” talent show.
For three weeks, kids in each age group put together a skit and/or dance to perform. They showcased their dancing and acting skills in front of friends, family, and community residents.
At the end of the Summer when the talent show ends, the winner takes home a trophy!
Executive director Phillip Gilley said this is a good way for kids to make friends and have fun. Making the Boys and Girls Club a hotspot for kids in the summer.
“We’ll provide a safe, fun learning place for kids to go during the summer when their dad and grandparents are at work,” Gilley said. “It’s a lot of fun the kids work hard, they enjoy doing it though.”
