BREAKING: Fatal wreck claims life of a Dothan man

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Earlier today, a Dothan man was killed in a wreck just north of Troy University- Dothan Campus, University and Highway 231.

Midland City officials said James Hill, 51, had lost control of his vehicle, ran off the road and then flipped over into a ditch.

Family members were crushed at the news as they arrived on the scene.

Bits of debris from Hill’s trailer were everywhere on site.

Midland City Chief Keith Walker said they are continuing to investigate for more details.

“At this point the details are vague until we get further into the investigation,” Walker said.

Walker sends his condolences to the family and tells WDHN it’s never easy arriving to scenes like this.
