DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — It’s been almost a year since the COVID-19 pandemic began and started creating hard times for local businesses.
Now, Dothan and other areas of the Wiregrass are seeing new businesses open and more businesses wanting to add locations to the circle city.
After the difficulties of 2020, the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce is grateful for the businesses that have made it through the hard times.
“Well it’s exciting and it’s certainly a testament to the leadership in our community,” Executive Director of Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce, Dean Mitchell said. “It’s a testament to the foundation of people that have worked hard for many many years to build a great community and to make it a business friendly community.”
Dothan will soon be seeing a new Chipotle, Sholtzsky’s Deli, and other businesses that have yet to be announced.
