SLOCOMB, Ala (WDHN) — City of Slocomb water customers can expect an extra surprise with their upcoming bills
Slocomb Fire and Rescue is asking residents to chip in and donate at least $1 to $2 to the department along with their normal bill payment.
The donations will go to help the department replace fire engine 4, which has been in service for almost 34 years.
Slocomb Fire and Rescue says that if all Slocomb water customers donated, they would be able to meet this hefty goal.
If citizens would like to donate, they can fill out the flyer that will come in the mail along with their water bill and drop it off at the Slocomb Water Board Office
