ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN)—The Coffee County Baptist Women on Missions sponsored its annual school prayer walk on Sunday.

Folks of all denominations were welcome to come to the school campuses of Enterprise City and
Coffee County. Here, volunteers prayed in each classroom along with praying in the gym and cafeteria
at Pinedale Elementary in Enterprise.

In addition, “Prayer Warriors” walked on the campus of Enterprise State Community College.
They ask god for the protection of children, teachers, school officials, and national leaders.

Participants went to the school of their choice to pray.

For one Pinedale teacher, prayer is more important than ever following the mass shootings
of children in Uvalde, Texas, and other senseless tragedies.

Organizers of the school prayer walk say the event became a mainstay following the tragic loss of eight student lives’ when a killer tornado made a direct strike on Enterprise High School in March 2007.
