ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN)—Raging inflation is rearing its ugly head in the wiregrass, especially among those who traditionally already have the most difficulty making ends meet.

That’s why the “Church on Boll Weevil Circle” gave away boxed lunches and “signed-up” Coffee County residents who are having difficulty paying for their meals.

The Coffee County “Baptist Association” along with other churches are signing-up people
who would qualify for a “food giveaway” held on the last Tuesday of each month at the
Farm Center in New Brockton.

Reverend John Granger says several tons of nutritional food is given to families
who have a hard time paying their grocery bills which have gone up exponentially because of inflation.

If you live in Coffee County and believe you “qualify” for “free food”, you can call
the Coffee County Baptist Association. That number 334-894-6411.
