COFFEE COUNTY, Ala (WDHN) — Coffee County EMA and Police will be holding an active shooter training this week at a church in Enterprise.

On Thursday, March 2, the Coffee County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and the Enterprise Police Department will be conducting a full-scale active shooter training exercise.

The training will take place at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 500 Alberta Street in Enterprise, and will start at 10:00 a.m. It will last approximately one hour.

Trainees can expect to be put through exercises involving multiple victims and fatalities.

Agencies involved in the training include EPD, Enterprise Fire Department, Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, Enterprise Rescue, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, and the Coffee County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
