COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — Coffee County became the latest in Alabama to start an emergency alert system.
In order to increase the number of avenues to get emergency alerts and severe weather warnings, Coffee County EMA Deputy Director, Grant Lyons, wants county residents to sign-up for the service.
Officials say this service is important in that it adds another warning method to go along with weather radios and outdoor sirens.
To sign-up for the service go to www.coffeecounty.u.s. Once on the page, then go to EMA for the home page instructions on how to sign-up.
