ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Enterprise Police have confirmed the shooting was an attempted suicide.

WDHN would not normally report attempted suicides, however since this story was previously reported, we wanted to update the information.

Late Thursday night, police and rescue crews arrived at Rucker Boulevard after getting a call about a firearm injury. When first responders arrived they found a person with a gunshot wound to the head.
