NEW BROCKTON, Ala (WDHN)—Shortly before a tornado warning was issued for Enterprise late this morning, New Brockton received a massive amount of rain in a short period.

The slick conditions created dangerous driving conditions along State Highway 84.
Coffee County EMA personnel were not only concerned about the precipitation but also about strong winds above 50 miles per hour accompanying the rain.

Although there were no driving mishaps reported, there were minor cases of flash flooding on 84 and some of the local roads, especially in low-lying areas were briefly underwater.
