DALEVILLE, Ala. (WDHN)—As families start getting ready for the back-to-school season, a breakfast-lunch program at Daleville city schools is set to end.
Since the end of the 2022 school year, Daleville City Schools have held their summer feeding
program for children age 18 and younger.
Lunchroom personnel tell WDHN that the program draws boys and girls of all ages, and
that this Summer’s feeding program will end on the 28th of this month.
Students who qualify for “free” or “reduced” school meals must now apply either
online or at their child’s school district.
During the “Covid pandemic”, “All” public school students nationwide could get a “free” breakfast and lunch at school.
