ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Gov. Kay Ivey decided to give a total of $46 million to 27 projects involving various road and bridge projects Tuesday.
Enterprise is set to build a round-about at the intersection of Shellfield Road and State Highway 27.
In addition to a local match, the entire project will cost more than $332 thousand. Over the years, it has seen a number of horrific wrecks.
Currently, there are stop signs on Shellfield leading onto 27. According to ATRIP funding requirements, work must get underway on the round-about in the next two years.
