DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Jurassic Quest is the largest dinosaur show in North America and it’s in the Wiregrass this weekend providing educational fun for people of all ages.
Gates opened Friday morning and already people are flocking to the Peanut Festival Fairgrounds that are covered in life-like moving and roaring dinosaurs.
Along with walking among the dinos, there are dinosaur-themed rides, live shows, and interactive science and art activities.
Attendees can dig for giant fossils, examine real fossils, participate in scavenger hunts, and take photos and kids have their own play area.
Dinosaurs, of course, roamed the earth millions of years ago. However, Jurassic Quest has been bringing the now extinct reptiles to life since 2013.
8,000 tickets have already been sold for this weekend’s exhibit in Dothan.
