DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan City Schools announced it will be temporarily pausing school bus transportation to two Circle City schools beginning on Tuesday.

“Due to Transportation staffing shortages, Dothan City School Buses will not provide transportation to Carver 9th Grade Academy and Dothan High School for the remainder of the week beginning Tuesday, January 11. Buses will resume on Tuesday, January 18.”

For students unable to find transportation to school:

“Students who cannot secure transportation to school and have internet access will be provided a device if needed to conduct instruction remotely.”

Carver 9th-grade academy and Dothan High School will remain open.

DCS stated that they will continue to provide transportation for special needs students to Carver 9th Grade Academy and Dothan High School.
