DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — In honor of National Crime Victim’s Rights Week, Dothan city commissioners honored the Wiregrass Angel House for its efforts in serving the community.
The organization is responsible for assisting victims and their family members who have suffered due to violent crimes.
Dothan leaders declared April 24-30, ‘Crime Victim’s Rights Week’ in the Circle City. According to officials, this is a week filled with events to honor those victims and their families.
In return, Katy Lewis with the Wiregrass Angel House honored Dothan Mayor, Mark Saliba, and the rest of the Dothan City Commission for supporting the non-profit through the years.
The Wiregrass Angel House will hold its 13th annual charity golf tournament on Thursday at the Dothan National Golf Club and Hotel.
