DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dothan man was arrested Saturday, April 23rd, after a string of vehicle break-ins in downtown Dothan.

Officers responded to a breaking and entering call at the 100 block of South Foster Street. There, officers found a man outside of the wood line nearby.

After speaking with the man, officers found the alleged stolen items underneath a blanket.

Ronald Devone Balcom was arrested and charged with four counts of unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle as well as other charges including forgery.

The 58-year-old was booked into the Houston County Jail shortly after midnight Sunday.

His total bond is $81,000.

The stolen items have since been returned to the rightful owners.
