Dothan man arrested from chain of events on Tuesday, charged with kidnapping

Dothan police arrested Schuyler Antonio Jackson on multiple charges.

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan Police Department has made an arrest from a kidnapping incident that occurred at Adams Inn off Highway 231 on Tuesday.

Dothan City Jail dockets show Schuyler Antonio Jackson, 35, from Dothan has been charged with theft of property first degree 2x, robbery first degree, kidnapping first degree and possession of marijuana first degree.

Around noon Tuesday, police say they responded to the Adams Inn after locating a female victim who told police she had been kidnapped. She told police the suspect was at the Adams Inn.

Around 3 p.m. that day, WDHN news witnessed police serving a search warrant at one of the rooms at the motel.

On scene, Special Operations Bureau Captain, Rachel David told WDHN that the investigation is ongoing so there isn’t much she could provide at the time.
