Dothan man charged with sexually abusing child

COTTONWOOD, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dothan man has been charged with sexually abusing a child under 12, according to a release.

Colonel Jim Smith, public safety director for the Cottonwood Police Department, said that Danny Lee Pace, 28, of Dothan (formerly Cottonwood) had sexual contact with the child at a home on Metcalf Street.

Smith said the investigation is still ongoing, and more charges are expected as evidence is still being examined. Pace was booked and released from the Houston County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
