ORIGINAL REPORT (5/14/2021):

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dothan Police Department arrested a man Thursday for an alleged sex crime.

Sgt. Tim Mullis said Quishawn Jerry Coleman, 23, is accused of committing the act of sodomy against a minor. The offense allegedly happened at a hotel on the east side of Dothan.

Mullis said Coleman was picked up by a separate agency, with the investigations division intercepting him afterward. He faces a charge of sodomy second-degree.

At the time WDHN reached out to the DPD, the investigation was still active. Thus, Mullis said more charges could be pending in this case.
