Runaway teenager found, returned to family

A source close to the family has informed WDHN that Savannah Marie Porter has been found safe and is back home as of Sunday.


DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dothan Police Department is searching for a teenager who ran away from home on New Year’s Day.

According to a public announcement, Savannah Marie Porter, 15, left home in a silver Chevrolet SUV.

Her family last saw her on the 2600 block of Marquette Drive. Savannah stands at five feet four inches tall and weighs 105 pounds.

She has blonde hair and brown eyes.
