DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — On Wednesday, WDHN received an update about the road construction underway on Ross Clark Circle and Highway 84.
The first phase of the Honeysuckle Road widening project began earlier this year, and spans from West Main Street” to Fortner Street.
Dothan’s assistant public works director had this to say.
“The current progress of the Ross Clark Circle widening project is they have completed pretty much most of the widening 84 section which is from Jamestown to Bel Air Drive.” Assistant Public Works Director, Bart Barefoot said.
Barefoot says the Ross Clark Circle and Highway 84 phase of the road construction will likely end in December. The next phase will begin on Meadowbrook Drive and go through to Cherokee Avenue, among other areas of the city.
