Dothan’s Time Youth Impact Center gets donation for food pantry

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A local non-profit organization got a pretty large gift today.

Time Youth Impact Center received $2,400 from the Houston County Bar Association to continue their workings with the youth of Dothan.

The donation will help Time Youth stock up and increase the size of their food pantry, as every child that attends the non-profit organization receives a snack during their program.

“To be a little piece of trying to help them out,” Treasurer of Houston County Association, Gantt Pierce said. “And what the mission is for Time Youth. We believe in it, we’re encouraged by it. And so it was an opportunity for us to be involved in what Nate has going on, him and his wife here at Time Youth.”

Pierce said he looks forward to the association’s relationship with Dothan’s Time Youth Impact Center.
