DPD searching for ‘armed and dangerous’ suspect wanted for 2020 murder

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan police have identified a suspect wanted for the murder of a 50-year-old woman who was shot and killed in her Dothan home in 2020, police say.

According to a press release, Ty’Shauwn Markise Bryant, 22, of Dothan, has been identified as the third suspect involved in the death of Christina Moore. Moore was shot and killed in the 700 Block of South Lena Street, while she slept in her home on Sept. 6, 2020.

Two suspects have already been charged in the 2020 case, Dontavion McCree and Phillip Barkley, Junior, who are awaiting trial, per legal documents. The Dothan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Bryant.

Investigators are warning the public that Bryant should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see Bryant, do not approach and contact the Dothan Police Department or your local authorities.

Bryant has active warrants for two counts of attempted murder and one count of capital murder related to the death of Christina Moore.
