DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Eagle Eye Outfitters visited Dothan Tech Wednesday to announce new benefits for high school and college student employees.

Like many other businesses, it is looking to hire more people due to a lack of workers and hopes these incentives will help kids feel more at ease about working while being in school.

Plus, organizers said the program is meant to help students prepare for a full-time job once they finish school.

“We’ve created a high school ambassador program for co-op students, for local co-op students, and we’ve also created a college diplomat program too, which will actually give students an opportunity to earn wages while they’re in school but also to earn a $500 scholarship,” manager Rick Walz said.

Eagle Eye Outfitters hopes to continue this program with future students.
