ENTERPRISE, Ala (WDHN) — Following several cancellations last spring and summer due to the pandemic, it appears free movie night will return to the city of Enterprise.

A family-oriented picture is scheduled for March 19 at Bates Memorial Stadium, the old home to Enterprise High School’s football team.

The building has been totally refurbished for outdoor activities.

City officials recommend those who plan to attend the movie wear masks and follow CDC guidelines.

“We have done events like this in the past and excited about trying to revive it and bring it back,” recreations coordinator Mariah Montgomery said. “We initially intended to do it during September time frame last year and ended up being canceled due to all the restrictions, but we’re happy to do it now.”

The gates open at 6 p.m. on Friday night, and the movie is free not only to Enterprise residents but to everyone.
