Enterprise, Ala. (WDHN)—Although the fear of COVID is blamed for keeping the numbers down, the Enterprise Ministerial Association hosted its 15th annual Good Friday cross walk.
More than one dozen Christians walked a two-mile stretch of the Boll Weevil Circle carrying a large cross to symbolize the crucifixion.
Participants represented a half-dozen churches from Enterprise and unincorporated Coffee County.
On several stops along the route, prayers were held for the return of Jesus from the tomb.
Similar Good Friday cross walks took place across the wiregrass Friday.
