ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN)—Two-to-three times a year, the Enterprise Police Department holds its coffee with-a-cop get-together.

Police Chief Michael Moore says it provides his department a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the department’s work in the City of Progress.

Chief Moore says its aim is to advance the practice of community policing by improving relationships between police officers and community members one cup of coffee at a time.

Thursday morning’s coffee with a cop was held at the Chick-Fil-A restaurant on Boll Weevil Circle. Chief Moore says they move it each time to those businesses interested in building relationships between the citizens and police.
