ORIGINAL REPORT:

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dothan Fire Department is fighting a fully involved house fire on Fence Post Lane in the Woodlands.

The fire grew to the point where it caused parts of the building to collapse, and the light of the flames can be seen from the road.

The Dothan Fire Department battled a massive blaze in the Woodlands subdivision Sunday night, unable to make entry because of the size of the fire.

Dothan firefighters are trying to put out the fire in defensive mode because they cannot enter the building at the moment.

It is currently unknown if someone is inside the building.
