Free clean-up for Geneva County residents

Local News

Geneva Co., Ala. (WDHN)—On Friday and Saturday, the Geneva County transfer station between Geneva and Samson is accepting shrubbery trimmings, yard waste, and other debris. It’s “free” per load for county residents.

All business and commercial establishments are excluded from free clean-up.

In addition, hazardous wastes, batteries, and tires won’t be accepted.

For one Hynote Community resident, it’s a chance to clean up his property at no cost.

On Saturday, the transfer station off Geneva County Road 65 will be open from seven in the morning till two in the afternoon.
