WDHN’S MIKE GURSPAN SAYS COUNTY OFFICIALS BELIEVE THEY’RE DOING THE BEST THEY CAN WITH THE RESOURCES THEY HAVE AVAILABLE.

LOCAL OFFICIALS SAY THIS WEEK’S PERIODIC RAIN HAS CAUSED SOME MINOR ISSUES ON SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES OF DIRT ROADS IN GENEVA COUNTY… RECENTLY…, WE’VE FIELDED SEVERAL CITIZEN COMPLAINTS THAT THEIR ROADS HAVE NOT BEEN GRADED FOR A WHILE. BUT, DISTRICT ONE COMMISSIONER, WESTON SPIVEY, SAYS WORK CREWS ARE DOING WHAT THEY CAN WITH THE RESOURCES THAT THEY HAVE AVAILABLE.

BARFIELD SAYS IF A RESIDENT OR BUSINESS OWNER HAS A ROAD OR INFRASTRUCTURE ISSUE OF SOME KIND
TO CONTACT HIS OFFICE FOR A “WORK ORDER” TO BE FILLED OUT, AND THE PROBLEM WILL BE DEALT WITH.
