HARTFORD, Ala (WDHN)–ISA Alabama Corp announced a multi-million dollar expansion coming to the Geneva County Industrial Park which will create 80 new jobs.

The speculative building where ISA Alabama Corp will set up shop equals 45,000 square feet and sits on 12.93 acres of industrial park property. The industrial park is located in Hartford on State Highway 167.

ISA Alabama Corp is a multi-national company involved in the manufacturing, engineering, design, research, and development of nitrile and latex gloves and boot coverings.

The company produces an excess of 100 million dipped nitrile latex parts with state-of-the-art production equipment and fabrication facilities.

We are very excited to a have a premier company join our industrial ranks in the Wiregrass region. The Geneva County Commission has worked very hard to put the economic pieces together by establishing the Geneva County Industrial Park and then adding the new 45,000-square-foot speculative building so that we could position our area for opportunities. Through the Commission’s investment in the new speculative building and partnership with PowerSouth and Wiregrass Electric Cooperative, we were able to set up the investment in this project and working regional with our partners in the Wiregrass region were able to pursue opportunity and locating ISA Alabama Corp. to our area is the culmination of much work and effortto support their growth and create economic opportunities for our citizens,

With the agreement finalized, the project can move forward with finishing the speculative building, installing an industrial road access extension, and moving into a hiring phase.

ISA Alabama Corp is expecting to be in operation by the third quarter of 2023 and will update information regarding the hiring process when the time comes.
