GENEVA COUNTY, Ala (WDHN)— Two years after the deadly shooting of a Bellwood woman, a Geneva County woman has plead guilty to one count of murder.

Andrea Charlene Wambles, 41, of Chancellor is accused of the 2020 murder of Danah Hudson Johnson.

Johnson was found dead on a Geneva County road after being shot in the chest twice.

As WDHN previously reported, after an investigation, Wambles was taken into custody and authorities found her vehicle and a pistol in the woods near the scene

Wambles is facing 25 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. She has a set bond of $200,000 and has not bonded out at the time of this report.
