ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — In the City of Progress, Governor Kay Ivey took time out of her campaign schedule to visit a longtime manufacturer in Enterprise.

ALFAB corporation on the Boll Weevil Circle recently celebrated its 50th year in business.

The metal fabricator produces a host of products for both civilian and military sectors.

Governor Ivey pointed to ALFAB and its approximately 100 employees as an example of
an industry in the state “setting the bar” for manufacturing in the U.S. and around the world.

The governor says companies like ALFAB with many employees who have been
there for 30, 40, and even 50 years demonstrate why the state has one of its lowest unemployment rates ever.
