Dothan Ala. (WDHN) — A local motorcycle shop had a huge event Saturday, July 24th filled with festivities and an opportunity to give back to the community.
Harley Davidson of Dothan celebrated its 49th anniversary from 9 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon in the Harley parking lot.
During the event, Harley Davidson partnered with Blood South to hold a blood drive and give back to the hospitals in the area. The store’s event coordinator explained why an event like this is so important.
“Whenever we get big milestones like this, every year we like to celebrate that and have something for the community to come in and just help us celebrate with and with us having this event I figured it would be a good time for them to come out and just be able to do what they do best,” said Garrett Brunson.
While people were donating blood at the event, folks were able to have some entertainment as Moto Motion Entertainment held a freestyle stunt show for the celebration.
