Headland, Ala. (WDHN)—From Easter through the Summer vacation period, U.S. Highway 431 is one of the busiest roadways in the Southeast.
It carries tens-of-thousands of motorists from metro Atlanta and points beyond to Northern Gulf of Mexico beach destinations in Florida.
With predicted good weather this Easter weekend, Headland Police Chief Mark Jones anticipates his department will be quite busy with traffic interdiction.
Chief Jones reminds locals and visitors to abide by all traffic laws, wear seatbelts and definitely do not drink and drive.
