HENRY COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — The annex building renovation project is moving forward in Henry County.

Tuesday morning, the Henry County Commission awarded a contract to VOAK Construction totaling around $90,000.

The construction will consist of a new generator to fuel the entire building and adding more space to be able to hold commission meetings and add additional courtrooms.

The vote to approve the contract passed unanimously and the commission hopes to have it complete in six to eight weeks.

This project is fully funded by a COVID-19 grant through ADECA.
