UPDATE:

DOTHAN, Ala(WDHN)— Dothan Police have determined the cause of the September 19 fire was arson.

The two juveniles seen entering the residence before the fire have been arrested and charged with second-degree arson.

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN)— Dothan Fire Department received a call at 4:30 p.m. about a house fire in the 1100 Block of Sumter Street in Dothan with heavy fire coming from the south side of the building.

Reports from citizens say two teenagers entered the building before the fire. When first responder crews searched the house, no one was found inside.

The house was undergoing remodels and was not supposed to have anyone living in it.

Dothan Fire Department has contained the fire and arson has not been ruled out.

Fire crews have taped off the scene. Police are interviewing neighbors to get more information about the two suspects at large.
