DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — Dothan Police have confirmed a missing 16-year-old and her son have been found.

According to Dothan Police, Jayda Marie Butler and her 11-month-old son, Kyson Rhodes, were found safe at a family member’s house not long after the missing persons alert was put out.

Butler’s mother told WDHN she was in South Carolina.

Butler and Rhodes were reported missing after her mother last saw Butler on Tuesday, May 23, at their home near the 200 Block of Reid Drive in Dothan. Police notified the public that the two may have been en route to South Carolina.
