DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — Dothan Civic Center and Opera House have announced new rules for future events.

Beginning Monday, June 5, all bags entering the Civic Center or Opera House must be a clear 12×12 tote or Ziplock Bag. Purses, fanny packs, satchels, and backpacks will not be allowed. Security checks will also be implemented.

Bags required for medical supplies and diapers will be allowed, but are subject to security searches.

Any weapons, outside food and drinks, laser pointers, cigarettes, and vapes will be prohibited.

The Dothan Civic Center and Opera House ticket policy has also changed. Only tickets from Etix will be honored for shows and events. Any tickets purchased from a third party will not be honored.

Re-entry into the event halls will also not be permitted. If your ticket has been scanned once, a second scan will not be allowed into the building.
