DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) — A 34-year-old Dothan man was arrested Thursday morning and charged with Child Solicitation by Computer after a short investigation.
According to Dothan Police Sergeant David Saxon, DPD received a tip from a Dothan citizen near the end of August regarding child solicitation.
Sgt. Saxon says after a two-week investigation into the report, Tavis Adams was arrested on the morning of Thursday, September 14, and charged with one count of Child Solicitation by a Computer.
Adams was booked in the Houston County Jail on a $30,000 bond. Jail records state he has not bonded out.
Police do not expect any additional charges for Adams at this time.
Due to the sensitive nature of this case, police will release no additional information at this time.
